Rock and Water

Rock and Water is a program designed to teach anger management, self-control, positive qualities and resilience in primary and high schools across Australia. An Advanced Trainer in Rock and Water, Brian Hayes has taught the program extensively in both Primary and High schools. He has been contracted by the Family Action Centre, University of Newcastle, to teach the 3 Day Accreditation courses in NSW, ACT and Northern Territory, and also conducts closed courses in other states.

Teachers of Rock and Water require two key equipment items, the strike shields and soft batons. Strike shields can be utilised for other school training such as football, and most schools purchase 10 to 15 shields to allow paired use in normal class groupings.

The soft batons allow for development of blocking skills without the risk of hard contact between forearms, and are highly recommended for the program. Schools should contact us to obtain a competitive quote for strikeshields and batons.
