Masters Club

Masters Club

Some people just love to train, and to broaden their martial arts experience. The Masters Club is dedicated to students who want to be, not only a Black Belt, but one with a broad base of martial arts experience.

Masters Club modules include;

Kobudo - Weapons training in both Chitokai and Matayoshi (Okinawan) weapons systems. You will learn to use the bo, tonfa, nunchaku and sai, using traditional, authentic forms as your learning base, as well as learning the practical applications of the various weapons.

Xtreme Demonstration Team - Learn the gymnastic skills required to perform extreme martial arts, and be a part of the famous HVMAC demonstration team. The training is high energy and exciting!

Groundfighting Self Defence - Learn the techniques of grappling and groundfighting, Many people feel pwoerless once a fight goes to ground. This program introduces the martial artist to the whole new world of control, leverage, locks and escapes that can be applied from your back.

Leadership Programs for Dynamites (STORM = Special team of Role Models), Dragons (SWAT= Special Winning Attitude Team) and Adults ( Instructor’s Assistant). These fantastic programs are much more than volunteer class assignments. Students learn about teaching technique, communication skills, goal setting, negotiation, conflict resolution and personal development from Renshi Brian Hayes.

Apart from his martial arts credentials, Hayes Renshi is also a consultant in educational programs for the University of Newcastle Family Action Centre, and conducts teacher workshops with a main focus on Boys Education across Australia. Many parents and adults will see that this course is a unique investment in personal growth.

If you are yellow belt or above, and you have a strong training record, you may be invited to join the masters club. If you are just plain hungry for more training, see Hayes Renshi or Sandy Sensei to discuss your training program.
