 Sensei Sandy Hayes has developed a unique Cardio Combat program aimed at adults who want personal attention, a great cardio workout and one that is designed to have you lose weight, gain muscle tone and core strength and also learn effective self defence.
The program utilises our unique wavemaster striking bags, partner held shields and focus mitts and is based on impact training to maximise strength and core stability. There is no sparring in the Cardio Combat class, but students are graded regularly and may attain the grade of Cardio Combat Black Belt.
The Cardio combat class is particularly attractive to women, who make up 80% of the classes, and adults who are looking for a great workout without the ritual and sparring component of traditional karate.
